This US$10 billion telescope was designed to collect light in the near-infrared spectrum which is the optimum wavelengh to allow for the detection of very distant objects. In fact, the telescope allows astronomers to peer back in time to within 180 million years after the Big Bang which is even before the first galaxies formed!
Metal Earth is made from high quality steel sheets. Each model features amazing detail with parts cut from one or more 4" square steel sheets. Easy to follow instructions are included with each kit and NO GLUE OR SOLDER REQUIRED! Simply snip out the pieces and bend the tabs through corresponding connection points.
