Magnate: The First City is a midweight strategy game for 1-5 players.

Players grow their property empire by buying land, constructing buildings, and attracting tenants in Magnate. But not all locations are appealing to all types of tenants, and players must strategically plan to increase their chances of success without benefitting their opponents. The rising land prices also pose a risk, as a game-ending crash is inevitable. The challenge is to emerge as the wealthiest property magnate by making strategic decisions and maximizing profits.
